The Restless Dog

The events unfold in beautiful Prague—a city whose outward charm remains cold and indifferent. It’s as if it silently witnessed the terrible death of a person, and the circumstances are so tangled that, in the first days of the investigation, the Czech police were at a loss.

The body was found by a refugee from Nigeria in a camper van parked in the center of the city, in yards nearby “The Dancing House.” By that time, the owner of this vehicle was already in the hospital with a heart attack and didn’t even suspect what horrors were happening inside his car.

Identifying the corpse without hand(s) was extremely difficult, but forensic experts managed to pick up traces that gradually led the investigation to threads reaching into Russia.
