Bill is an IT manager at Parts Unlimited. On Tuesday morning, on his way to the office, he is caught off guard by a call from the CEO.
A new IT initiative of the company, code-named “Project Phoenix,” is of critical importance for Parts Unlimited, but the project clearly exceeds the budget and doesn’t fit the deadlines at all. The CEO wants Bill to solve all the problems within 90 days—or the entire Bill department will be fired.
With the help of a promising team member and his mystical philosophy of the Three Paths, Bill begins to see that working in IT has much more in common with factory work than he could ever have imagined. The clock is ticking, and Bill must build connections between different departments correctly, organize work properly, and effectively solve the countless problems that arise at Parts Unlimited.
