The courtier is the story of a man from our world who unexpectedly finds himself in another reality and has to survive within a complex system of court power. With rational thinking and knowledge, he quickly realizes that in this world it’s not only magic and strength that decide outcomes, but above all connections, reputation, and usefulness to those in power. Starting his path as an unnoticed specialist, the hero gradually climbs higher and gains access to decisions that determine the fates of other people. At court, there are no permanent friends—only temporary allies and hidden rivals. The hero must balance between personal principles, the demands of service, and the instinct of self-preservation. Over time, he understands that power is not a reward, but a dangerous responsibility. Any wrong decision can lead to his downfall. This is not a story about an chosen hero, but about a man who survives thanks to his mind, his powers of observation, and his ability to adapt.
