“Courtier” is the story of a man from our world who suddenly finds himself in a foreign reality and is forced to survive within a tangled court system. Starting out as an inconspicuous specialist, the hero rises step by step, gaining access to decisions that determine other people’s fates.

There is no such thing as eternal friendship at court—only situational alliances and hidden competition. He has to maneuver between his own principles, the demands of his service, and his desire to live. Over time comes the understanding: power isn’t a prize, but a risk and responsibility, where a single mistake can spell collapse. This is not a story about a “chosen one,” but about a person who stays afloat thanks to his wit, attentiveness, and the ability to adapt to ever-changing rules.
