“The Tale of Kisch” is a story by Jack London, first published in January 1904. Kisch was the son of a great hunter, well known and respected in his tribe. And when the boy turned thirteen, inspired by stories about how skilled his father was, he went to the village elders. Kisch declared that he would become a great hunter who would bring his people plenty of meat. They mocked him and allowed him to leave.
But Kisch used the magic of his mind and rose from the very poorest igloo to become the village leader. And all the years that followed, his people were happy. The audiobook also includes stories by the writer.
