Description
Paul Herzfeld, chief forensic expert of Germany’s Federal Criminal Police, found in the head of a monstrously mutilated female corpse a note with his daughter Hanna’s phone number. It turns out the girl has been kidnapped, and the offender with a twisted mind is drawing Paul into a deadly game, leaving only a ghost of hope to save his daughter. Another instruction for what to do next is hidden in yet another corpse—located on the northern island of Heligoland. However, Herzfeld has no chance to obtain information: a powerful cyclone has cut the island off from the mainland, and the population has already been evacuated. Among the few who remain is a comic book artist named Linda. She discovered the dead body on the beach.
