Mario Sanchez, who is both a member of the Colombian guerrilla movement FARC and works for Russian intelligence, by order of the Center is transferred to the Congo and stationed in Pointe-Noire— the country’s largest trading hub, second city after Brazzaville and an Atlantic port. His mission is to gather information about shipments of strategically significant cargo sent to African states from France, China, and Belgium. But carrying out the task becomes complicated: a staff member of a Chinese special service, Guanbu, appears on his trail—hunting for the same secret materials as Mario.
