Even in a new residential complex at the edge of an old forest, strange things can easily happen. Rushing to help a huge blue cat, I couldn’t have imagined that he can talk—and that very soon, saving will be needed from me.
And don’t fall in love with a neighbor right away—think it through a hundred times. At least Yaga is sure of that.
In the book you’ll find:
— one blue cat: magical, cunning, irresistibly charming;
— the main characters are young, attractive, with secrets, teasing jabs, and lively back-and-forth banter;
— humor, sometimes purely feline;
— a forest that skillfully portrays “the most ordinary”;
— urban fantasy with a hint of Slavic motifs and a fairy-tale mood;
— a fresh residential complex, slightly spoiled by the reality of mortgages;
— places where you start to feel uneasy: in fairy tales it’s good to be fine at the end, but until then, нечисть (unclean spirits) around plenty.
