"She" is an adventure novel by the English writer Henry Rider Haggard. The book is on the list of world bestsellers and is considered by literary historians to be Haggard’s second most popular novel after "King Solomon’s Mines."
The novel tells of Horace Holly’s journey, from whose perspective the story is narrated, and his friend Leo Vincey deep into the regions of East Africa in search of a lost mysterious kingdom—where they ultimately discover a tribe of savages and the mysterious white queen Ayesha, who possesses mystical powers and immortality.
