An Eye for an Eye

In the near future, cryptomorphs appeared among us—creatures endowed with dangerous paranormal abilities. Obeying a mysterious impulse, they now pose a deadly threat to the rest of humanity, which has formed an organization called BLOK—the Bureau for the Elimination of Dangerous Cryptomorphs. But are these creatures truly as dangerous as they seem? And what are their real goals?

These questions are meant to be answered by Mark Veres and Kira Koval—two BLOK agents who will have to work together, overcoming conflicting feelings. Before long, Mark and Kira realize: each of them keeps secrets capable of destroying the other’s life.
