“You’re both fired for incompetence. As soon as you give birth, we’ll run a DNA test, and if one of the children turns out to be mine, you’ll become my wife. That’s what you wanted, isn’t it?”
“ I love Dima,” I try to appeal to my boss’s reason.
“We were going to get married.”
“Let’s go, Nastya. He’s not in his right mind,” the guy grabs me up from my place and glares viciously at the man who is already an ex-friend. “Now you’ll have to love me,” Kazarин shrugs indifferently, then adds with a sting: “I think it won’t be hard. I’m a much more enviable fiancé, Snezha… You told Dima about that evening, didn’t you?”
He freezes and looks at me, asking with his eyes.
“About what, Nastya?” he asks, tense.
I only silently gasp for air, breathing hard, blinking back angry tears.
Could it be that because of my one mistake I’ll lose everything?
