Rebel Angel

"Rebel Angel" is an autobiographical essay-novel that takes us to different times and places. It describes the author’s childhood in Sarajevo, a country destroyed by war, as well as his journey to Stockholm for the Nobel Prize ceremony for Peter Handke. The book is steeped in philosophical reflections on modernity, the fate of the homeland, art, and the search for truth, and above it all hovers the spirit of freedom. The author dedicates the work to his friend Peter Handke, seeing in him an ideal creator—someone unafraid of the challenges of time and who creates art freely, following his path.
