Description
Andrey Valenyinovich Zhvalevsky and Evgeniya Borisovna Pasternak are a successful writing duo, winners of many literary awards. You are offered their thrilling quest-style book about time travel.

Modern teenagers Misha and Masha accidentally meet in Alexandrovsky Garden. Both are behind their classes, which went on an excursion to the Kremlin. The schoolkids don’t regret it for long, because, as Misha announced loudly: “History is trash.” And then their journey throws them back in time—ten whole centuries. They seem to be in the same place, but there is neither a garden nor a fortress—only a couple of crooked little huts. Of course—after all, it was still a century before the first mention of Moscow in the chronicles!

Now the main characters will have to find ways to travel forward in time to return to their native 21st century. To do this, they’ll be forced to strain their memory, hunting for the meager fragments of historical knowledge inside it, so they can figure out which era they’ve landed in and what’s happening around them.

It becomes clear: in some important situations, without knowledge (in particular history, literature, and foreign languages) it’s very hard to get by! The kids will have to rely on serious ingenuity to get out of trouble. Throughout the book, more than once they’ll regret that they didn’t study well at school.

What awaits Misha and Masha? Will they manage to complete the quest? Listen…
