Lucy’s mother has always dreamed that Lucy would stop hiding in her “shell”: move to a metropolis, make friends, and try real adult life… Lucy herself is ready to take a chance too — especially since Felix, her longtime childhood crush and long-time family friend, offers her a job as a secretary in his company.

But it quickly becomes clear that this story is somehow not about her. The office is constantly gray and chilly (especially after the ban on her favorite sweaters and Uggs), the “corporate spirit” feels more like a set of rules, pretense, and performative smiles, and Lucy is terrible at the role of secretary — she is far too used to getting lost in thought and drifting somewhere far away.

The easiest thing would be to give it all up and leave unfriendly London, but the mere thought that she will no longer see Felix every day keeps her from taking a step back. So Lucy will have to gather her courage and prove that dreamers can also find their place in a world of строгі suits and deadlines — otherwise she risks losing Felix forever.
