A Masquerade of Good Intentions

After returning from an exotic island, businesswoman Alena Gracheva begins suffering from unexpected seizures. During one such attack, she and her husband Valery go for a ride on a snowmobile and disappear. Some time later, Alena is found dead in a ravine, covered in blood—while Valery seems to have vanished along with his snowmobile. He is searched for everywhere: sometimes traces are found, but each time it’s as if he slips away, as though supernatural forces are helping him. Perhaps angels are protecting him—or demons?
