Description
During a manned mission to Mars, astronaut Mark Watney finds himself alone on a hostile planet. Due to the most severe sandstorm, the crew of the spacecraft "Hermes" evacuates, believing him to be dead. Mark survives, but he has no communication with Earth, there is no food supply for years ahead, and the chances of rescue are approaching zero.
