Mackintosh

The main character of the novella, Macintosh, has been diligently performing his bureaucratic duties for two years now in a small Polynesian village on the island of Talu. The only thing that darkens his existence in this warm paradise is his boss—Walker: an irresponsible bore and a high-minded grouch who poisons life for everyone around him. With each day, it becomes harder and harder for Macintosh to tolerate Walker’s unbearable character. And he plans his murder.
