The Ifrit's Love

Mikhail Varishin is hardly any different from the people around him. He works, goes to resorts, skis, helps the police solve “cold cases,” and even has a good friend—a witch. There is not an ounce of malice in Mikhail. He was born an ifrit, and to survive he has to hunt magical creatures: vampires, sorcerers, werewolves, seers, succubi, and demons.

And everything would be fine—if there weren’t almost none of the wizards, succubi, and vampires left in the world. And whoever survives hides from ifrits too well. So because of unbearable hunger, Mikhail decided on an adventure: he tried to feed on the aura of an ordinary woman.

Of course, for his purposes only a strong, healthy, willful, energetic woman would do…
