Description
Evgeny Vedmin is a contemporary of the early 21st century. He served in the regular forces in the Airborne Troops, and later finished a flight school. But due to circumstances, the main character ends up working at a flying club as a pilot of a light aircraft and an instructor for parachute jumps. By nature, he’s a joker and a womanizer. During a parachute jump, he gets injured and falls into a coma. Unknown forces transport him into the 20th century, right in the midst of the Great Patriotic War, into the body of a girl who has just finished flight school. The reason for the transfer is not really explained: something vague—help survive and understand his mistakes. What mistakes, he realizes not right away. Maybe about his attitude toward women? In the girl’s body, he begins to perceive the world completely differently. Evgeny doesn’t try to implant new technologies or teach his ancestors. He loves and knows how to fly—which helps him survive in the bloody whirl of war. And most importantly, there is hope to return to his own body and time. For now, he must fulfill his duty to the Motherland.
