The Above is no longer what it used to be. And one fine day (and in the Above every day is wonderful) Lila decides to change her place of residence. After all, there are other worlds—the Middle and the Lower. The Lower is the one that some mortals imagine as hell or purgatory. But who trusts the imagination of mortals? In truth, everything there is different—though some elements of the human understanding of the underground kingdom do exist. Yes, it’s gloomy. Yes, you can meet monsters. But the worst torment waiting for those inhabitants is a thousand-year-long disco… (oops, spoiler). So if you can’t imagine what the Lower world should look like, don’t try—you’ll still end up seeing something completely different.
However, Lila also doesn’t dream of becoming a citizen of the Lower world. But the Middle world is another matter. And it’s a world we all know well—we live here. Sure, there’s something of the Lower world in it, but there’s also a bit of the Above. In general, it’s quite a decent world to live in. We live, don’t we? And some of us have even done quite well for ourselves here.
But not everything is so simple (it’s a game, after all). You can’t just move from one world to another. There’s no elevator that carries people from one world to another (or is there?). And Lila can’t just walk the paths of mortals. Especially since mortals travel one way only—from the Middle world to another (which exactly is not disclosed by the rules of the game). Ready to play with Lila? Then—go ahead.
