Cuckoo's Tears

“Cuckoo’s Tears” is a drama with elements of melodrama. A young woman sits in a bar late night after night and gets drunk alone, each time calling a taxi to leave and go home. She is strange—confusing and irritating—she makes ridiculous choices and behaves against ethical stereotypes. But there is something in her that’s natural, real, and touching—something that, in the end, the other participants in the action notice.
