He wouldn’t have believed it, of course. And even when he saw pirates-ghosts in the carriage with his own eyes, he still wouldn’t have believed it. He thought he was simply exhausted from school activities, and now, at the end of the year, he was being haunted by glitches. But the glitches turned out to be persistent and bloodthirsty—and yet, for some reason, they couldn’t quite reach Valya and his ridiculous friends.
