The End of Scheherazade

Princess Ekaterina Alexandrovna Meshcherskaya wrote several memoir books about her life as well as individual novellas based on the same material, including "The End of Scheherazade."

By virtue of her origins, the born Princess Meshcherskaya endured the hell of numerous arrests and deprivations, yet in her memoirs the reader encounters a woman strong in spirit, who valued poetry and the joys of life, nobility and love above all else.
