It’s very important—to learn about angels. But the words must catch on something. Something within. Otherwise they’ll slip right past—like the wind. Like the noise of a passing car. Like a stray cat running across the yard. She’s so soft and fluffy, hurrying along to her business, with nothing to do with you. Of course, you can try to pet her—if she doesn’t get scared. If you aren’t scared to pet a strange, unknown cat that’s just made its way out from under the cellar—what if she’s contagious? But even if you do pet her, nothing will change in your life. And nothing will change in the cat’s life either. She’ll keep running on, to her business. And you’ll go on as if you hadn’t touched anyone. You can’t treat angels the same way. You can’t do to them what you did with that unknown cat: find everything out—and then go on with your business. You’ll have to live with it. From then on—live with it.
