Description

Eddie didn’t expect that moving to Gateshead would bring anything good. Houses with broken windows and overgrown lawns promised nothing interesting. But everything changed when he found out that his favorite horror-story author, Nathaniel Olmsted, lived in this city! According to local legends, Olmsted’s writing brought misfortune to the town, and his stories were dangerous. Eddie heads into the Nameless Forest with new friends and sees a statue of a girl—just like the one in Olmsted’s book: the Stone Child! Locals claim that in the forest there’s a terrifying ghost, the Woman in Black. And Eddie’s mom starts writing a novel about… the Dark Lady. Eddie is sure that the answers to all his questions are connected to the statue.
