Odie is on the surface of a planet. The artificial world created to save Earth from catastrophe is behind him, even though its horrors have not been erased from the hero’s memory. But the world he has ended up in now is no less dreadful. Odie once again has to go straight at it—without sparing his enemies—and prove to those around him that his fear and respect in the past life were not in vain; that life has already been half-forgotten.
Odie and his team have settled in Mutaterra, whose very existence is the result of a system error. Mutaterra suddenly began issuing assignments with very generous pay. Why would that be? Something clearly strange is going on. Perhaps Odie is once again being used as a trump card in the game of the systems. Details are in the audiobook.
