In the service record of General Foty Ivanovich Kobrisov there were not only successes and awards, although generally speaking he knew how to fight. From the Baltics, and then from outside Moscow in 1941, he managed to reach the Dnieper in 1943, beyond which stood the city of Predslavl. Here not only the fate of the battle for Right-Bank Ukraine was being decided, but also the fate of the general himself, though he did not know it.
