Description
Three generations of the Savidge and McCree families—rich, aristocratic clans—decide to spend the summer on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, in Beldam. Here, right on the unbearably scorching beach, three Victorian mansions belonging to the families stand side by side. Two of them are quite ordinary; but in the third, for a long time, no one has lived—it's practically buried under a huge dune of dazzling white sand. There are no people, and nobody remembers—or wants to remember—when it became empty. No one talks about this house; strange legends circulate about it. In its empty rooms, something lurks that brings nightmares. Something terrible—and possibly it is exactly that which is responsible for several dreadful and inexplicable deaths that occurred here many years ago.
