A New Earth

This book will be very helpful to those who have already read “A New Earth,” possibly more than once, felt a deep resonance within themselves, and— to some extent—experienced an internal transformation through it. The informational content of this book is relatively less important. You read it not so much to learn something new, but to deepen, become more present, and to wake up from the stream of ceaseless, compulsive thinking. If there is no inner recognition in you—only distant and fleeting impressions of what the words point to—then the words will be fairly meaningless and remain no more than an abstract concept. However, if such recognition exists, it means that awakened consciousness is beginning to arise inside you, and the words you read will help it come out.

If you come across passages in the book and feel that they give you strength, I would like you to realize that what you feel is your own spiritual strength—that is, who you truly are in essence. Only the Soul can know the Soul.
