A Clergyman's Daughter

"A Daughter of the Priest" is a completely different novel compared to "Animal Farm" and "1984." This book will introduce you to another, more psychological Orwell. The main character, Dorothy, the priest’s daughter, loses her memory after an accident and forgets her faith. She begins to lead an unscrupulous lifestyle and joins a gang of drifters. Even when her memory returns, belief in God remains lost.
