Description
A project initiated by EKSMO in cooperation with the VKontakte platform brought together nine writers who, in just a month and a half, created a bright and unusual novel about the fictional town of Zavyalovsk, frozen in time. Anyone who gets a ticket to a session in this town gains the chance to change their fate. Some are looking to be near a loved one, some near a friend, some find themselves in another time or place, and some—who were once frivolous—find the meaning of life. Some even strive for divinity, and for all these changes to happen, something must disappear.
Maksim Ensky, a provincial journalist, begins to notice a connection between the disappearances of the town’s residents and goes searching for answers through the streets of Zavyalovsk, library archives, and even into his own past to find out who is behind these events. But this "someone" may be beyond the familiar reality—and perhaps isn’t human at all.
