How is our world structured? Is the future predetermined, or can each person change it?
Is it possible to foresee the future? And is the gift of such foresight a blessing or a heavy burden?
Throughout all of humanity's existence there have been people who see the future in their dreams, and what they see invariably comes to pass — they are called Dreamers… and there are people convinced that the Dreamers shape the future of this world and that without them the world would simply cease to exist; they call themselves the Keepers. And then there are those who seek to destroy the Dreamers in order to free the world from predetermination…
The events of the book unfold in the distant future — the main character, Arthur Colvert, a pilot of a space fighter, possesses the ability to see the future.
