Babi Yar

Born in Kyiv, during the occupation the author witnessed terrible mass executions carried out at Babi Yar. Everything he saw formed the basis of his famous book «Babi Yar.» Of course, in Soviet times the work was subjected to censorship. Today it is even studied by schoolchildren.
