Anima 5

The System never came into our world. It has always been in it — better known as Anima. Some people are born with its gift and can use it to fight monsters from rifts.

Rifts, because of which humanity can’t control most of the land. That’s why people live in fortified city-states. The rest of the lands are considered wild and are inhabited by wandering creatures.

The main hero has only recently undergone initiation and gained the ability to use Anima. He returns from a pilgrimage through the wild lands back to Moscow in order to kill the three most influential and powerful people in the city. He didn’t want this fate — life just turned out this way. But it doesn’t mean the trio doesn’t deserve its punishment.

It would also be nice to shake up the capital of the union of city-states, where the gifted have long forgotten the essence of their mission. And the gift of Anima is used only to fill their own pockets and burn through life in luxury and fame.
